Weather Forecast for Mexico City on February 7

On Friday, February 7, the National Water Commission (Conagua) announced the weather forecast for Mexico City and Toluca, the capital of the State of Mexico. It is expected that the temperature in Mexico City will range from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius as a minimum and from 24 to 26 degrees Celsius as a maximum. In Toluca, a minimum temperature of 2 to 4 degrees and a maximum of 21 to 23 is anticipated.

In the high areas of the State of Mexico, scattered clouds and a cool to fresh environment are expected, with temperatures that could reach 0 to 5 degrees. In the afternoon, the weather will change to mild to warm, with partly cloudy skies and chances of isolated rain in the State of Mexico, while no rain is expected in Mexico City. Winds from the north are forecasted at 10 to 25 kilometers per hour, with gusts of up to 40 kilometers per hour.

The presence of a low-pressure channel over southeastern Mexico will inhibit moisture, causing rain and intervals of showers in the northeast, east, south, and southeast of the country, including the Yucatán Peninsula. Isolated rain is also expected in areas of the west and center of the national territory.

Conditions will continue to be hot to very hot in the states along the Pacific coast, as well as in areas of northern and central plains and the Yucatán Peninsula. A new cold front is expected to enter the northwest of Mexico, combined with the subtropical jet stream and a dry line over the northern territory, which will result in strong gusts of wind in those regions, along with isolated rain in Baja California.
